Yogananda tells us that the pursuit of happiness is elusive, as Earthly pleasures bring relief and yet are not a panacea for a soul in darkness. True happiness is rarely experienced because it requires a connection to the eternal Divine. When the longing of the soul takes precedence over the desires of the mind, God responds with the gift of His Love. One drop of this Love changes everything.
