Judas speaks about the difference between not hiding your lamp and being like the hypocrites, praying in public. In the context of a soul in grace, when you shine your light upon the world, you shine it with the love in your soul and this does not require boasting or proselytizing. When you love the world, you lift the vibrations of those around you.

Jesus reminds us that we are created in the image of God. We are being purified, cleansed and transformed so that soul attributes of love, peace, joy and wisdom can be activated and strengthened. It is our responsibility to live these qualities of our true nature and stand strong in the face of the human condition within us, releasing those things not of God's Love to God so that they may be transformed.

John stresses that when we receive the gift of God's Divine Love, it not only relieves us of burdens and pains, but it brings joy. Joy replaces the heaviness of our hearts and helps us to come to God with enthusiasm and desire for more of His Love. Joy is an attribute of a soul freed of the human condition.
